Australian Theatre for Young People
ATYP’s production CUSP, 24 May – 2 June 2023
Tickets are now on sale for ATYP’s next production for 2023, CUSP.
CUSP, created by Mary Anne Butler, follows three teenagers from the Northern Territory, sitting on the cusp of change, facing choices that have the potential to alter their lives forever.
In an environment where First Nations Peoples are forced to leave Country for higher education, young people face adult incarceration, and medical procedures are not widely accessible, CUSP is a reminder of the inherent privilege of being able to make your own choices.
After having its 2020 run close early due to COVID-19, CUSP is back for 2023, opening in Sydney at The Rebel Theatre on the 25th of May before it jets off around Australia for a national tour.
