Welcome to Giving Culture’s August 2024 update and news from our partners.
Limelight magazine has just drawn the winners of its latest subscription competition prize draw, so congratulations to Alicia from VIC, Anna from NSW, Jennifer from WA and Mary from SA who have all won one of our Gold Culture Vouchers!
We were also lucky enough to attend ‘Silence & Rapture’, ACO’s collaboration with Sydney Dance Company. It was so great to be there with a full house in the iconic Sydney Opera House Concert Hall.

ATYP’s Spring Holiday Drama Workshops are ready to bloom!
The days are getting longer, the sun is shining and ATYP’s fabulous drama workshops are the perfect way to occupy the Spring school holidays.
If you’re feeling like stretching your bodies and imagination, the “Transform AHHHH!!” workshop will allow Year 3-4 students to bring their wildest ideas to life. Want to walk in the sneakers of some of Shakespeare’s boldest baddies? Year 7-9 students will uncover what makes these characters tick in the “Bad to the Bard” workshop.
Feeling up to a challenge? Year 3-4 and Year 5-6 students can write, create and perform in their very own original play in “Make A Play In A Day.” You say it can’t be done? They will prove you wrong!
Whether it’s two days, three days or a full week you are after, we have you covered. No need to have had prior drama experience, we welcome students of all abilities.
Workshop Dates:
WEEK 1 — Mon 30th Sep – Fri 4th Oct
WEEK 2 — Tues 8th Oct – Fri 11th Oct
