From a brand-new collaboration with Sydney Dance Company that basks in the mesmerising music of JS Bach and Arvo Pärt, to the long-awaited national tour of Richard Tognetti and Jennifer Peedom’s cinematic and musical odyssey River, and performances featuring international stars including singers Stuart Skelton, Catherine Carby and Iestyn Davies, guitarist Sean Shibe and cellist Nicolas Altstaedt, the ACO’s 2024 Season is a monumental adventure through extraordinary music.

ATYP Summer Workshops 2024

Say hello to 2024 with ATYP’s Summer Holiday Drama Workshops! ATYP has a stacked lineup on offer and with classes available for all school ages K–12, all experience levels and 2–5 day class options, there is something for everyone these school holidays.

Running from 8–25 Jan 2024, ATYP’s summer holiday program includes the annual National Summer Camp, filmmaking, musical theatre, comedy, audition preparation skills, and so much more! Aftercare is also available until 5pm. Join ATYP at the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct, or at Bondi, Chippendale, Darlinghurst, Haymarket or The Rocks in classes led by industry-trained teaching artists dedicated to helping young performers develop their dramatic skills. SFF includes the oldest short film competition in Australia

Entries are open for the 71st Sydney Film Festival in 2024, in cinemas from 5-16 June.  Showcasing an array of diverse stories, the festival continues its tradition of premiering a rich blend of features, documentaries, and short films at venues throughout Sydney. “Every edition of the Sydney Film Festival renews our commitment to cinema and its creators,” said Festival Director Nashen Moodley. “The world of cinema is vast, and at Sydney Film Festival, we endeavour to capture its every nuance.”

The 2024 season will celebrate the 55th year of the Festival’s Australian short film competition, making it the oldest short film competition in Australia. Since 1970, the competition has served as a launch pad for emerging Australian film talent, spring-boarding countless directors, producers and actors towards international success.
